Larry Throne (right), social services coordinator at Rolling Hills Psychiatric Hospital in Ada and program director for the Pontotoc County Mental Health Court, is named the Social Work Program’s Distinguished Alumni for 2014 at the East Central University Department of Human Resources Awards and Recognition Program. Throne, who was chosen for his service to the department, has been a field instructor for social work students as well as a mentor to graduate and counseling students.
