Over 100 East Central University Students Inducted into Alpha Chi National Honor Society

One-hundred and one East Central University students were inducted into the Oklahoma Gamma Chapter of Alpha Chi, a national college honor society, in a Dec. 4 induction ceremony.

Membership in Alpha Chi is limited to no more than 10 percent of the junior and senior classes. At ECU, students must have a least a 3.5 grade-point average to be eligible to join.

The objectives of Alpha Chi are to promote and recognize superiros scholarship and those elements of character which make scholarship effective for service. The society, founded in 1922, has more than 300 chapters.
