Teaches in the Department of Professional Programs in Human Services within the Clinical Rehabilitation and Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program. She has an earned doctorate from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She is a Life Coach and Trainer. Her research and advocacy interests include adjustment to disability, disability and behavioral health, disability intersectionality, positive psychology, and access rights of service animal partner.
