EMCAD WANTS INPUT TUESDAY ON CLOSING STREET SEGMENTS

An informational meeting about a proposal to ask the city to close portions of two streets adjacent to East Central University's Hallie Brown Ford Fine Arts Center will be held Tuesday [JAN. 15] at the Source, 730 E. Main.

The come-and-go meeting will be from 4 to 6 p.m., said Bridget Forshay, community development coordinator of the East Main Cultural Arts District. Refreshments will be available.

ECU OFFERING WORKPLACE SPANISH FOR BANKERS

The Center of Continuing Education and Community Services at East Central University will offer Workplace Spanish for Bankers starting Feb. 7 [THURSDAY]. The cost is $100 per person. If four or more enroll from the same company, the cost will be $75 per person. The class will meet on Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. through March 13. Prior knowledge of Spanish is not necessary. The cost is $100 per person. If four or more enroll from the same department or agency, the cost will be $75 per person.
