    The East Central University men’s soccer club is hosting the Southeastern Oklahoma State/Durant Soccer Club on Saturday at 3 p.m. at Lady Tiger Field, home of the ECU varsity women’s soccer team, in Ada.

     The ECU squad will unveil new uniforms from funds donated by Pure Nutrition, Gym 210, Citizen’s Bank and the ECU Student Senate.

    Shakespeare’s comedy about a shrewish woman who is mad, angry and misunderstood – and how she is transformed – will be presented Friday and Saturday [APRIL 15-16] at East Central University.

     “The Taming of the Shrew” will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Ataloa Theatre in the Hallie Brown Ford Fine Arts Center, directed by Dr. Richard Groetzinger, director of theatre and assistant professor of communication.

    Marran Ogilvie, an Oklahoma native who rose to executive positions on Wall Street, will present an insider's view of the ethical controversies on Wall Street at 1:30 p.m. Thursday [APRIL 14] at the 21st annual Parker Ethics Lecture at East Central University. She will speak in the Estep Multimedia Center in the Bill S. Cole University Center.

    A retired East Central University professor, the 2011 Oklahoma Teacher of the Year and an early-day ECU graduate will be inducted into ECU’s Gene and Evelyn Keefer Educators Hall of Fame at 2:30 p.m. April 13 [WEDNESDAY]. The ceremony will be open to the public in the Danley Hall atrium.
