    In Patrick Sweet's case, he just chose both of them for the title role in "Cinderella," the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical that will run Feb. 19-22 [THURSDAY-SUNDAY] in ECU's Dorothy Summers Theatre.

    A few openings remain for the March 14-22 tour of Spain offered by East Central University's Study Abroad Program. The tour will be conducted while ECU and other schools are closed for spring break.

    Tour participants can earn three hours of academic credit in Spanish culture or language while experiencing Spain's culture and history and immersion in the Spanish language.

    Four new healthcare courses will begin in March through East Central University's Continuing Professional Education Program. The courses are Medical Billing and Coding, EKG Technician Certification Program, Pharmacy Technician, and Phlebotomy Technician. They will be in-class instructor-taught classes in Fentem Hall on ECU's campus.     Three academic programs at East Central University have received maximum reaccreditations and approval during the 2008-09 year.

    Accreditation verifies that an institution or program meets established standards, fosters continuous improvement by measuring programs against national standards, and sets a competency threshold when establishing criteria for graduates entering various fields.
