The ECU Honors Program offers motivated students enhanced educational opportunities, smaller class sizes, and tuition fee waivers.

Honors Classes: Small, discussion-based courses beginning your first semester

Priority Access: Early enrollment and housing beginning your second semester

Active Student Life: Join the Honors Student Association, one of ECU’s most engaged student groups

House System: Be sorted into one of four Honors Houses and compete for the annual House Cup

Travel Opportunities: Past trips include Mexico City, New Orleans, New York, Boston, and San Francisco, plus the annual Global Faiths Tour across Oklahoma

Research Opportunities: Work one-on-one with professors on a thesis or individualized project in your major
Graduate Success:
Recent Honors graduates have continued on to prestigious graduate and professional
programs at institutions such as Stanford, Dartmouth, Johns Hopkins, Georgetown, and
the University of Alabama, among many others.
Admissions Criteria
Incoming Freshmen:

Minimum 3.5 GPA
-
ACT score of 24+ or 12+ college credit hours with a 3.5 GPA

Interview required
Continuing/Transfer Students:

Minimum 3.3 GPA
