Mission
The ECU Black Alumni Association was established in 2018 to enhance the college experience
for African American students by awarding scholarships and providing opportunities
for students and
alums-of-color to socialize and network.
The mission of the ECU Black Alumni Association is to work collaboratively with the university to grow the alumni membership base, foster alumni engagement, and encourage alums to return and give back to ECU.
Our goal is to encourage student and alumni engagement through cultural, educational and social activities aimed at ensuring more alums feel a connection to ECU and actively contribute to the ongoing success of current and future students
