Dr. Destany Schafer-Morgan is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the state
of Oklahoma and a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) in the state of Minnesota.
She earned her master’s degree in social work, and school social worker certification,
from the University of Cincinnati in 2013. In 2019, Destany completed her doctorate
in social work from the University of Southern California, where she focused on the
Grand Challenge of reducing extreme economic inequality within Native American communities.
Destany has extensive experience in the field of child welfare, where she worked closely
with families and children.
In addition, Destany serves on numerous social work-related and community boards. She is also an active member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), which is the largest membership organization of professional social workers in the world.
