My research focuses on aquatic and wildlife ecology, emphasizing aquatic invertebrate and fish communities, cross-ecosystem interactions, and the impacts of invasive species (especially feral hogs) on native ecosystems. My work bridges ecological theory and applied management to answer questions that better inform conservation and restoration efforts. Some of my favorite courses to teach are limnology, stream ecology, wildlife management, and animal behavior.
