Michelle A. Lastrina

Michelle A. Lastrina, Ph.D. earned a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Mathematics
and a minor in Studio Art from Mount Holyoke College in 2006. She then earned a Doctor
of Philosophy with a major in Mathematics from Iowa State University in 2012. After
a year as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Dickinson College, she came to East Central
University in 2013. Her primary fields of interest are Graph Theory, focusing on
coloring, list coloring, and sum-list coloring problems, Recreational Mathematics,
and Mathematical Art. She is active with the Mathematical Association of America,
Association for Women in Mathematics, and the Mathematics, Computer Science, & Statistics
Section of the Oklahoma Academy of Science.
