Nicolas Stowers

Dr. Stowers has earned a Bachelor of Science degree from ECU, Master of Education in Sports Management from Southwestern Oklahoma State University, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Education from Oklahoma State University. In addition to his degrees, Stowers holds a certification in Athlete Development from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School. Before coming to ECU, Dr. Stowers previously served as Assistant Athletic Director at Rogers State University. With a research focus on College Athletics, Dr. Stowers has been a facilitator at the NCAA Student-Athlete Leadership Forum and has participated in several training opportunities offered by the NCAA. Dr. Stowers has presented his research at conferences and recently submitted two manuscripts for publication. Dr Stowers currently teaches courses in the Master of Education Sports Administration program and serves as Faculty Athletic Representative (FAR) for ECU Athletic Department.
