June 15-19, 2020 at East Central University

For 8th and 9th Graders

 

Students will conduct experiments synthesizing, purifying, and analyzing various biologically important molecules.  The relationship of these biomolecules to medicine and industry will be explored.  There will also be a field trip to the Noble Research Institute in Ardmore and to the Chickasaw Wildlife Refuge.

During the week, students will interact with college professors and experience college life.  Sessions about college admission, financial aid and career aptitudes will be interspersed throughout the academy.  Lots of fun evening and recreational activities are also planned.

There is no cost to attend this camp. Meals, housing, and activities are all provided at no cost to the participant.
