ADA, Okla. – East Central University’s Showtime is excited to present “Steel Magnolias,” March 5-7 at 7:30 p.m. in the Chalmers-Herman Blackbox Theatre, located inside the Hallie Brown Ford Fine Arts Center.
A 1987 stage play by Robert Harling, “Steel Magnolias,” is a poignant, humorous play set in a Louisiana beauty parlor that explores the bonds of six distinct Southern women over three years.
The story focuses on the health struggles of diabetic Shelby and her mother M'Lynn, highlighting themes of female friendship, strength, and resilience in the face of loss.

Tickets may be purchased in advance or at the ticket booth. Prices are $10 for adults and $5 for children age 5 and under.
