ADA, Okla. – East Central University’s Educational Opportunity Center (EOC), a federally funded TRIO program proudly serving adult learners since 1991, is expanding its free services with new partnerships to reach more individuals in the community. The ECU EOC provides essential support to qualified adults who want to enter, re-enter, or continue their education.

The EOC program primarily serves low-income, first-generation, or displaced adults. All services are free to eligible participants. EOC counselors are dedicated to helping adult learners gain the skills and support needed to pursue higher education or vocational training, offering assistance with admissions, financial aid, FAFSA completion, scholarship searches, and application fees for both college and GED testing.

In its commitment to empowering individuals to create brighter futures, the EOC has partnered with local libraries to offer convenient satellite services:

Counselors will be at the City of Ada Public Library on the second and last Wednesday of each month.

A satellite counselor will be onsite at the Seminole Public Library on the second and last Thursday of each month.

Cutline: EOC’s mission is to help individuals access and succeed in higher education by providing free services and support.
