ADA, Okla. – With Homecoming 2025 around the corner, select East Central University students have been preparing for their chance to be crowned the 2025 Homecoming Queen and Homecoming King.

Twenty-one student leaders from various student organizations, residence halls, athletic teams and academic departments have interviewed for their spot on the 2025 Homecoming Royalty Court.

Five Queen Candidates and Five King Candidates have been selected by the Homecoming Royalty Selection Committee to comprise the 2025 Homecoming Royalty Court.

Queen Candidates includes:

  • Addison Guinn from Purcell, Okla. Nominated by Choka Chaffa Hall.
  • Scotlynn Hatton from Ada, Okla. Nominated by Baptist Student Union.
  • Kaylen Logan from Hugo, Okla. Nominated by Zeta Tau Alpha.
  • Alyssa Rogers from Purcell, Okla. Nominated by Chi Omega.
  • Abigayle Shropshire from Stuart, Okla. Nominated by the ECU Student Government Association.

King Candidates include:

  • Seth Brecheen from Ada, Okla. Nominated by ECU Baseball.
  • Memphis Gray from Ada, Okla. Nominated by the ECU Student Government Association.
  • John Kelso from Ada, Okla. Nominated by the ECU Russian Club.
  • Elliot Ridon from Ada, Okla. Nominated by the ECU Honors Program.
  • Izzy Stephens from Tacoma, Wash. Nominated by Momentum Campus Ministry.

The 2025 Homecoming Royalty Court Candidates will be placed on a live voting ballot for the ECU student body to vote for their 2025 Homecoming Queen and King.

Voting opens Oct. 13 at 12 p.m. and closes Oct. 17 at 5 p.m.

On Oct. 18 the 2025 Homecoming Queen and King will be crowned during halftime of the ECU home football game against Oklahoma Baptist University. The game will take place at the Koi Ishto Stadium at 3 p.m.
