ADA, Okla. – Homecoming 2025, themed Ringmaster Roarys’ Big Top Bash, closes in at East Central University for students, alumni and the local community.
Homecoming festivities begin Friday, Oct. 17 with the Annual Homecoming Golf Tournament at Oak Hills Golf & Country Club in the morning and the Annual Alumni Gala Dinner and Dance at the Chickasaw Business and Conference Center in the evening.
Homecoming festivities will continue on Saturday, Oct. 18 with the following events:
- Homecoming 5K, registration will open at 7:30 a.m. at Wintersmith Park.
- Golden Tiger Brunch, registration will open at 8:30 a.m. inside the Chickasaw business and Conference Center.
- ECU Men’s Basketball Pancake Breakfast will begin at 9 a.m. at The Perfect Blend.
- ECU Homecoming Parade will begin at 11 a.m. at Ada Main Street. Join community members from ECU and across Ada during this year’s parade.
- Ringmaster Roary’s Big Top Bash will begin at 12 p.m. Held in the heart of campus at Centennial Plaza this family-friendly carnival event is open to alumni, students, and the Ada community. The Big Top Bash will feature local food trucks, outdoor games and activities, inflatables and kid-friendly attractions, face painting, booths, live music, and more.
- Football vs. Oklahoma Baptist University will kick-off at 3 p.m.
- Black Alumni Association After Game Mixer will begin at 7 p.m.
“Homecoming is more than floats and fanfare,” said ECU’s Director of Alumni Relations, Jessica Sanchez, “it’s a homecoming for alumni, a showcase of ECU spirit from students, and a celebration of the unique bond between Ada and ECU. Come ‘home’ to Ada to experience the magic of ECU, where traditions shine bright and our community feels like family.”
