While waiting at the Pontotoc County Health Department, Bennett and Bliss Henson look over some of the books Smart Start South Central donated for the waiting area. Smart Start has donated numerous books to area pediatricians so that young children may look at quality reading materials while they spend time in waiting rooms. Smart Start South Central, which is based at East Central University, focuses on family support, health, child care and school readiness.
