Art Teacher Certification
Inspire creativity in the classroom.
This concentration prepares students for careers as certified art teachers for grades
Pre-K through 12. Students gain experience across a range of media while learning to guide children
in developing their artistic vision. The program combines studio practice with education-focused
training, leading to state teaching certification.
Graphic Design
Design what the world sees.
The Graphic Design concentration equips students with the skills to succeed in the
fast-paced world of visual communication. Working with color, typography, layout,
and imagery, students create everything from logos and packaging to websites, motion
graphics, mobile apps, and more. Ideal for careers in business, media, marketing,
and digital art.
Studio Art
Master your medium. Define your voice.
The Studio Art concentration offers an interdisciplinary approach to visual art. Students
work in ceramics, drawing, painting, printmaking, and sculpture while developing a personal, aesthetic-driven studio practice. Emphasis is placed
on critical thinking, creative problem-solving, and preparation for a professional
art career or graduate study.
