ECU 2025 Summer Semester Dates & Deadlines
Tuition & Fee Due Date
Full payment is due by Friday, June 6, 2025
Unless covered by financial aid or scholarships, tuition and fees must be paid in
full by this date.

In-person payments must be received by 4:30 p.m. in the Bursar’s Office (Admin Building, Room 108).

Title IV aid recipients (PELL, SEOG, OTAG, Direct Loans, PLUS Loans): payment due on the date aid is disbursed.
How to Pay
Payment Options:

In Person: Cash, money order, cashier’s check, personal check, or credit card (Admin 108)

Online via Colleague Self-Service:

Electronic check (ACH): No fee
-
Credit/debit card: 2.95% convenience fee (4.75% for international cards)

Payment Plans Available:

Sign up by June 6
-
Balance split into three equal payments
-
First payment due at enrollment
-
Remaining payments due on the 15th of each month

Late Payments
-
A HOLD will be placed on all unpaid accounts.

Holds prevent class registration and transcript access.
Withdrawals & Non-Attendance

100% refund deadlines:
-
16-week courses: within 10 days of class start
-
8-week courses: within 5 days of class start
-

ECU will not cancel your enrollment for non-payment.

Failure to officially withdraw = full financial responsibility.
Financial Aid Disbursement

First Title IV disbursement: On or after June 12
-
Other aid (scholarships, OK Promise, SEOG, OTAG, third-party grants): disbursed as received

Refunds are processed through TouchNet
-
Be sure to select your refund preference in advance
-
Set up your refund method at least 1 week before disbursement

Important: Always check your account in Self-Service to confirm aid has applied and your balance is paid.
Additional Financial Aid Notes

Vocational Rehabilitation: Checks are mailed to the student. Present to Bursar for payment.

Bureau of Indian Affairs: Bring award letter to the Financial Aid Office.

Institutional Charges Include: Tuition, fees, housing, meal plans, fines, and other ECU charges.
Refund Policy

Last day to receive a tuition refund or course cancellation is June 6, 2025

Refunds follow Oklahoma State Regents policy
Return of Title IV Funds (Withdrawals)
If you withdraw before completing 60% of the semester:
-
ECU must return unearned aid to federal programs
-
You will owe ECU for any returned funds and may owe additional funds directly to the U.S. Department of Education
After the 60% point, no refund or repayment is required.
Collections
-
Accounts unpaid after one year will be sent to a collection agency
-
Additional collection fees will be applied
