Curriculum Proposals

This page is devoted to curriculum proposals submitted during the 2025-2026 Academic year. 

Using the Correct Proposal Form
Forms are provided by the Registrar to the college deans at the start of each year. Forms are updated each year, so it is important that academic departments use the forms provided for the current year.

To Whom Are Proposals Submitted?
The academic department chair will submit proposals and supporting documents to the college dean. If approved by the dean, proposals will be forwarded to the Registrar before reaching the ECU Curricular Committee. Proposals approved by the committee will then be forwarded to RUSO and OSRHE in accordance with state policies for notification and/or approval as needed.

Where is My Proposal?
Proposals received by the Registrar are tracked using Smartsheet software.
