We will have a table in the University Center between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. to provide information and to sell awareness bracelets. The bracelets cost $2 and say "No Child Should Go Hungry." Proceeds benefit Homer School's Backpack Program which provides food for 30-40 children every weekend.
Why: Because a hungry child is a child who cannot learn. As we leave campus for Thanksgiving Break and the traditional meal, we should remember those less fortunate than ourselves.
