The 2024 Veterans and Military Appreciation Day hosted by the Veterans Upward Bound Program at East Central University, is scheduled for Thursday, May 16, 2024. Once again, we are expecting a great event, and we would love for you to join us.
You, your program, organization, or business, are being invited to participate as a vendor. There is no charge to have a table of information. We do ask that you specifically offer services for veterans and their families. Vendors will be provided one six foot table and two chairs. You will need to bring a table cloth/covering. (all this info is included on the registration form.) If you have trouble accessing the form, let me know. Space is limited, so complete the registration as soon as possible.

Vendor tables are key to a successful day! We ask vendors to be set up and ready to go by 8:30 am. We will open our event at 9 am, but honestly, we do have veterans who arrive very early. They know the coffee and donuts will be waiting! Our formal Appreciation Day program will start promptly at 10 am. Lunch will be provided immediately following the program, and door prize drawings will occur during lunch! Vendor tables will also be open during lunch. It will be an awesome day of recognition, information, resources and networking!
We will be having door prize drawings during lunch and if you would like to donate an item for the drawing that will be great, although it is not required. Only veterans and current service members are allowed to register for the door prizes.
To help promote our vendors and ensure veterans know who is in attendance, we will be showing a continuous power point presentation with vendor information on our monitors throughout the conference center. This presentation will loop throughout the day, except during the formal program. Thus, we ask every vendor to create ONE power point slide that can be included in this presentation! If you need help with this, let us know. Send your slide to veteransupwardbound@ecok.edu and specifically note in the subject line this is a slide for Veterans Appreciation Day. This event is usually complete by 1:30 pm.
