One of the classics of American theatre by Tennessee Williams with A Streetcar Named Desire and The Glass Menagerie, Cat tells the story of Maggie and Brick, struggling in the marriage, returning to Brick's plantation home where his father, Big Daddy, is dying of cancer.

The play was made into a major motion picture in 1958 starring Elizabeth Taylor, Paul Newman, and Burl Ives.  It earned 4 Academy Awards in 1959 including Best Picture, Best Actress, and Best Actor, as well as a Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture.
