Our largest room is Foundation Hall, approximately 6966 square feet. The room is carpeted and equipped with 3 drop down screens and 3 ceiling mounted projectors. The wall plate at the front of the room serves as the receptacle for inputs from computers for projecting presentations or accessing the internet and hooking into the sound system. Ceiling mounted speakers and two additional screens mounted on pillars aid in the presentation for everyone in the room to view and hear presenters. The room is equipped with assisted hearing devices, wireless clip-on and handheld microphones. There is also a wheelchair accessible stage in the front center of Foundation Hall. Foundation Hall divides into smaller sections with recessed room dividers. Foundation Hall also serves as a FEMA safe room, rated for 250 mph winds. Its banquet capacity is 50 60 inch round tables with 8 chairs per table for 400 people. Theater style capacity is 989. Classroom style capacity is 168. Layout of Foundation Hall.
Rental of Foundation Hall also comes with automatic rental of the Foundation Hall Lobby, Foundation Hall can be sectioned off into 3 smaller rooms:
- Foundation Hall West - The West section of Foundation Hall is 2023 square feet of space. This room comes equipped with the same audio visual setup found in Foundation Hall, without the stage. Its banquet capacity is 15 60 inch round tables with 8 chairs per table for 120 people. If a buffet is included inside, the capacity decreases to 96. Theater style, this room can accommodate 192. Classroom style capacity is 48.
- Foundation Hall Central - The Central section of Foundation Hall is 2920 square feet of space. This room comes equipped with the same audio visual setup found in Foundation hall, including the stage. Its banquet capactiy is 20 60 inch round tables with 8 chairs per table for 160 people. If a buffet is included inside, the capacity decreases to 128 people. Theater style, this room can accommodate 240 people. Classroom style capacity is 72.
- Foundation Hall East - The East section of Foundation Hall is 2023 square feet of space. This room comes equipped with the same audio visual setup found in Foundation Hall, without the stage. Its banquet capacity is 15 60 inch round tables with 8 chairs per table for 120 people. If a buffet is included inside, the capacity decreases to 96. Theater style, this room can accommodate 192. Classroom style capacity is 48.
- Foundation Hall Lobby - The Foundation Hall Lobby is a 1600 square foot lobby that serves as the entrance and pre-function area for the three rooms comprising Foundation Hall. Access to the restrooms and catering service room are also in the Foundation Hall Lobby. The FHL has several lounge seating areas for guest use and is an excellent location for event registration and check in tables as well as vendor booths.
Synergistic Learning Room 1
Synergistic Learning Room 1 (SLR 1 aka room 104) is 806 square feet of space. This room is set up with smart classroom technology including a screen, projector, podium with a computer, laptop hook up, a document camera and DVD player. The standard configuration for this room is classroom style for 42. Extra chairs can be added to accommodate a total of 52 in a classroom configuration. The tables are on wheels and can be rearranged into a U-shape for 24 or Hollow Square for 32. The room is carpeted and has large windows and shades with a view of Main Street.
Synergistic Learning Room 2
Synergistic Learning Room 2 (SLR 2 aka room 103) is 806 square feet of space. This room is set up with smart classroom technology including a screen, projector, podium with a computer, laptop hook up, a document camera and DVD player. The standard configuration for this room is banquet style for 32. Extra chairs can be added to accommodate 40 in a banquet configuration. SLR 2 has a built in counter for catering functions in the back of the room. The room is carpeted and has large windows and shades with a view of Main Street.
The Roof Terrace is an outdoor small reception space on the 3rd floor of the building with a beautiful view of the ECU Campus and Centennial Plaza. A total of 1981 square feet, this irregularly shaped space features areas for intimate conversation and small group gatherings and reception catering.
Citizens Bank Lobby
The main lobby to the building features a modern look with digital directories, a stock ticker, and news stations. The Citizens Bank Lobby has a tile floor and movable lounge seating for conversation and cafe seating. The Outtakes Cafe is off of the Lobby and a grand staircase leads off the lobby to the Stonecipher School of Business Classrooms on the 2nd floor. The Citizens Bank Lobby can be transformed into a reception area with pub tables.
Guest Business Center
CBCC Room 112 has a Guest Business Center (GBC) equipped with a computer and printer and basic office supplies. The GBC is intended to be used by guest attendees using the BCC for short term usage and small quantity printing. A copier is also available and only to be operated by BCC staff. The cost is $0.25 per page. Copy requests will be accommodated as quickly as possible and will be billed to the final event invoice.
Other space in the building
The Stonecipher School of Business is located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the building. The 3rd floor houses all of the SSOB faculty and staff, computer labs, as well as 3 boardroom style conference rooms scheduled through the School of Buisiness (580) 559-5274. The 2nd floor features a lecture hall with a capacity of 72 people in tiered classroom setting with state of the art audio visual capability, including lecture capture recording. The Justice Hargrave Moot Courtroom is also on the 2nd floor near the Kellogg Financial Trading Lab. On the first floor, the ECU Police are located in the West end of the building and their offices are accessible from the parking lot to the North of the Chickasaw Business and Conference Center. Below you will find information regarding rental of space in the Business Conference Center (BCC) in the Chickasaw Business and Conference Center (CBCC) building located on the East Central University (ECU) campus at the intersection of East Main Street and Center Street in Ada, Oklahoma.
BCC Policies - Please read over the BCC policies before committing to a contract for your event.
BCC Space Request Form - Please click on the link, fill out, and submit this form to request space for your upcoming event. This form is designed to gather as much information as we can to determine the most appropriate space for your event and to ensure we gather the relevant information to facilitate a smoothly run event. Upon receipt of this form, the BCC Offices will contact you with pricing and discuss the details to arrange a contract for the rental.
BCC Rental Rates - Our rates include the setup and breakdown of the room. We offer rates for commercial business and private parties and a discounted rate for government and non-profit organizations. Our standard hours are Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm and weekend, peak rates apply for events held on Friday nights and Saturdays and Sundays. To inquire about current rates, please contact our office.
The BCC may be used for events where alcoholic beverages are catered. The campus caterer is a licensed provider of wine, beer and liquor. If your event will have alcoholic beverages, 30 days notice is required, so please let us know to allow adequate time to file paperwork with the licensing commission.
