The traditional Honors Graduation Recognition Ceremony, recognizing students who are members of an academic honor society, will not be held at the end of the fall 2020 semester due to COVID-19 concerns.
A smaller graduation recognition ceremony for students who have completed the requirements of the University’s Honors Program will be held at 8:00 a.m. on December 12th in the Ataloa Theatre, located in the Hallie Brown Ford Fine Arts Center. Honors Program students should arrive dressed in their caps and gowns by 7:30 a.m. Faculty sponsors and the director of the University Honors Program will formally award academic regalia, such as honor cords, medallions, or stoles to each student as he or she is called to the stage.
This event is for invited faculty and students only. Family members and other outside guests will not be able to attend.
The ceremony will conclude by 9:15 a.m. Students should consult with their individual honor society to ensure their graduation regalia has been ordered and delivered.
