Former Student Enrollment

SO GLAD YOU'RE BACK!  HERE ARE YOUR NEXT STEPS!

Once you have been re-admitted to East Central University, follow the steps below:

  • Enrollment for returning students who have been out for one year or more begins April 3, 2024
  • Contact the Academic Success Center at 580-559-5696 beginning March 20, 2024 to schedule your enrollment appointment. 

At this appointment, the following will occur:

  • Orientation
    • Overview of Colleague Self-Service
    • Technology training - Hands-on practice using and navigating through technology used as a student at ECU.  
    • Set up your ECU email account.
    • Explanation of Financial obligations.
    • Overview of services available to help students be successful.
       
  • Academic Advisement
    • Overview of Transfer Credits and degree requirements for your chosen major.
       
  • Enrollment: Your Academic Success Center Advisor will walk you through the online enrollment process, the course selection and actually enrolling you in courses.
     
  • Before your appointment:
    • Download the ECU Catalog to be better informed about majors and course requirements.
    • If you attended any other college(s) since you were at ECU, make sure those transcripts have been submitted in your application to the Office of Admissions and Records.  If not, please be sure to bring them to your advisement/enrollment appointment.
    • Go to the ECU Transfer Matrix and get an idea of how your transfer courses will be equated.
