Auditions for roles in East Central University's production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's "Cinderella" will be held at 4 p.m. Nov. 10 [MONDAY] for non-ECU students and community members and at 4 p.m. Nov. 11 [TUESDAY] for ECU students.

The auditions for the musical will be held in the Black Box Theatre on the lower level of Science Hall.

"Cinderella" will be performed Feb. 19-22 in the Dorothy Summers Theatre.

Audition materials may be picked up at the Music Theatre Office on the lower level of Science Hall.

Director Patrick F. Sweet, ECU instructor of communication, is looking for cast members age 14 and older. The play has roles for a singing chorus, with all voice ranges, and dancers, including 10 male and female couples.

After the first read-through rehearsal with full cast on Jan. 9 [FRIDAY], rehearsals will be scheduled scene by scene. They will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays and on some Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Feb. 7. Beginning Feb. 9, rehearsals also will be held on Friday evenings.
