ADA, Okla. - East Central University and Ada High School, the two long-standing Ada institutions invite the community to come together and celebrate Homecoming 2023 “All Roads Lead Home”, on Sept. 22-23.

This marks the first year that ECU and AHS have collaborated on a weekend long Homecoming event with The City of Ada, Ada Main Street and the Chickasaw Nation all joining the effort to bring the extravaganza to the students and community.

Friday will feature the ECU Alumni Golf Tournament at 8 a.m. and the ECU Gala Dinner & Dance at 6:30 p.m. Various discounts offered at various businesses throughout the Ada community will also begin.

There will be many activities taking place on Saturday, starting with the ECU Golden Tiger Brunch at 10 a.m. to honor the ECU class of 1973, this year’s official Golden Tiger class.

The Tiger soccer team will host Harding University at 11 a.m. at Tiger Soccer Field.

The traditional Homecoming parade begins at noon on Saturday, Sept. 23, as participants from across the state will be there to show their support for ECU and AHS. The procession will travel east along Main Street, wrapping up at the ECU campus.

Main Street will also be hosting a variety of kids activities, mini carnival rides, food trucks and Touch-a-Truck and much more from 1-4 p.m.

Homecoming will then cap-off with the ECU vs. Oklahoma Baptist University football game set to begin at 6 p.m. at the Koi Ishto Stadium.
