Future Tigers are on the prowl at East Central University when high school juniors are invited to experience campus on March 1.

High school juniors and their parents/caregivers are invited to participate in the event which will help decide if ECU is the right fit for higher education plans. Potential Tigers will have an opportunity to interact with ECU faculty, staff and current students. A complimentary lunch, souvenir T-shirt and optional campus tour are also part of the activities.

Juniors will be introduced the variety of student organizations, Greek Life, life on campus, and opportunities such as Honors, business scholars, study abroad or study away, choir, band and theatre, athletics and so much more.

Important services at ECU will also be on hand, including, counseling, wellness center, accessibility services and tutoring and career services.

ECU’s Junior Day takes place on Wednesday, March 1. Check-in begins at 8 a.m. at the Lockmiller Lobby inside the Hallie Brown Ford Fine Arts Center, located on the northeast corner of the intersection of Main and Center streets in Ada.

The event begins with a welcome, followed by a student panel. Multiple breakout sessions are offered after the panel where students and their parents may learn about the admissions process, housing options, campus activities, scholarships, financial aid and more.

Participants may register for the event by Feb. 27, at www.ecok.edu/juniorday.
