Two opportunities to learn how to write winning grant proposals will be offered in September at East Central University.

Participants can enroll in the Fundamentals of Grant Proposal Writing workshop either Sept. 20 [MONDAY] or Sept. 21 [TUESDAY]. Instructor Robert Bradley has taught the course for state and national conferences, universities and colleges, government agencies and non-profit organizations.

The workshop will begin with registration at 8 a.m. each day and includes lunch and four sessions, from discussing a mock "request for proposal" to defining and justifying the need for the grant and all the steps to be addressed.

The workshop will end at 4:30 p.m. The cost is $147 per person.

Bradley has served as the manager of the Osher Institute of Lifelong Learning at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, as well as the acting director of Pre-College Programs and the coordinator of the Faculty Distance/e-Learning Program.
