ADA, Okla. – East Central University’s Melody Baggech and ECU Chorale join other local talents at the Pauls Valley High School Auditorium on Sunday, April 14 at 4 p.m.

Requiem masses were composed to bring comfort to those who have lost loved ones. Considered by many as one of the greatest choral Masterworks of Western culture, Mozart collaborated on the writing with Franz Xaver Sussmayr who completed the work after Mozart’s death.

Soloists are soprano, Baggech from ECU; alto, Rebekah Ambrosini from Southern Nazarene University; tenor, Jay Carlton from Pauls Valley; and baritone, Alan Marshall from Ada.

This work brings together choral singers from the Garvin County Chorale, the East Central University Chorale and the Kemp Concert Choir from First Presbyterian Church in Oklahoma City.

The Garvin County Sinfonietta consists of professional orchestral musicians from Oklahoma City, all under the baton of GCCSS director, Jack Bowman.

Tickets are available for $20 in advance at the Pauls Valley Chamber of Commerce and online at: www.GarvinCountySings.org.

Adult tickets will be $25 at the door. Under 20 are admitted free.
