The International Student Connection Club and the Global Education Office at East Central University will present an international banquet and entertainment Friday [FEB. 25] to raise money for international students’ scholarships for next fall.

The banquet of exotic foods from 10 different countries, including food donated by local restaurants, will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Trinity Baptist Church Center at 123 N. Mississippi.

Entertainment by international students will feature dance (salsa & Russian), African percussion, video and slide presentations of ISCC activities, a medley of cultural songs and a silent auction of arts and crafts from different countries.

Tickets are $10 for general admission and $5 for children and ECU students with valid IDs. Advance tickets can be purchased at the Global Education Office in ECU’s Administration Building, Room 160, and also at the door on Friday.
