The last community meeting for the East Main Cultural Arts District will begin at 5:30 p.m. Monday [NOV. 26] at the Ada Area Chamber of Commerce. While the focus will be on marketing and tourism, questions or suggestions about other topics will be welcome.

"If there is something you have wanted to discuss and it hasn't been addressed, this is your chance to bring it up," said Bridget Forshay, community development coordinator for the district. "At this meeting we will have a sense of what the community wants to see and we will talk about the overall image of the district in Ada and across the county."

Lona Barrick, chair of the committee on marketing and tourism, and administrator for the Division of Arts and Humanities for the Chickasaw Nation, will lead the discussion to gather ideas about logos and signage, how to market to the community and beyond, as well as how to tie the Arts District into other organizations, locations and activities already in place in Ada.

Refreshments and snacks will be served at 5 p.m. and activities will be available for children. For questions or additional information, contact Bridget Forshay at 559-5859 orbforshay@ecok.edu or visit the website www.ecok.edu/emcad.
