The Rotoract Club at East Central University will host a program Thursday [FEB. 23] to celebrate World Peace and Understanding Day on the anniversary of the establishment of Rotary International.

The program will begin at 8 p.m. in the Estep Multimedia Center in the Bill Cole University Center and is open to the public.

Speakers will include Randy McFarlin, Rotary District 5770 past district governor; Paul Thummerelle, a Rotary exchange student from France; Laurin Patton, a member of the Ada Rotary Club and a Group Study Exchange team member to Australia in 1975; Jennifer Greenstreet of the Ada Sunrise Rotary Club, a GSE team coordinator; and Ada Rotary Club members Ajay Kumar and Venesha Ferdinand, both natives of India; and Stanley Nnochirionye, a native of Nigeria.
