There’s no need to take a drive to Branson, Missouri to see a great show when East Central University conducts its own Branson-Style production for two nights only.

ECU Showtime will present “Songs from the Decades” on Monday, April 15, and Wednesday, April 17, in the Dorothy I. Summers. The show begins at 7:30 p.m. each night.

A variety of songs from the 1960s up to the present will be performed by Showtime and members of the ECU Pride of Tigerland Band.

Featured songs include: Eye of the Tiger, A Beatle Medley, Against the Wind & Take It Easy, Killing Me Softly, Old-Time Rock-n-Roll, Mamma Mia, Bohemian Rhapsody, Super Trooper, Endless Love, Footloose, Take on Me, A Whitney Houston Medley, More than Words, Bye, Bye, Bye, Hey Yah!, and Thriller.

Members from the ECU Pride of Tigerland Band will perform Hey, Baby!, All Along the Watchtower, Hawaii Five-0, Afrika,  Living on a Prayer, Word Up, Jungle Boogie, Seven Nation Army, Holiday, Dani California and Uptown Funk.

ECU Showtime members are Shelby Baker, of Bristow; Kashaun Barber, Stratford; Kody Clark; Aubrie Cram, Ada; Shelby Davis, Ada; Mariana Escobar, Broken Bow; Zana Johnson, Kinta; Russell McCreary, McLoud; Juan Oseguera, Ada; Summer Pearce, Glenpool; Isabella Roan, Garland, Texas; Malik Sharp, Shawnee; Zach Smith, Tulsa; Shelby Stinson, Poteau; Jace Westmoland, Byng; Leah Whiten, Davis; Tyler Whitney, Oklahoma City and Teagan Williams, Blanco.

Choreographers for Showtime songs are by alumni Keegan Buckaloo, Sallisaw; Cassidy Malm, Noble; Taylor Packwood, Shawnee and Showtime members Cram, Davis, Escobar, Oseguera, Sharp, Smith and Stinson.

Tickets may only be purchased at the door 30 minutes prior to performance time: $10 for adults, $9 for either ECU alumni or senior citizens, $8 for ECU alumni senior citizens, $7 students, and $5 Children 12 or under. Admission is free for ECU students, faculty and staff.
