Elizabeth Vezina, center, was presented with the Distinguished Service Award during East Central University’s 2019 Evening of Honors and Recognition held recently in ECU Foundation Hall of the Chickasaw Business and Conference Center. Presenting Vezina with the award is Dr. Willie Hughes, president of the ECU Alumni Association. At right is ECU President Dr. Katricia G. Pierson. Vezina, who was named ECU’s Outstanding Business Graduate in 1973, has excelled in the auditing and management consulting fields. She has served as past president of the ECU Alumni Association and in other various volunteer capacities such as Sunday School teacher, Boy Scout leader and working with the PTA.
