ADA, Okla. – The East Central University Showtime brings an original production to campus on Feb. 15-17 at 6:30 p.m. in the Chalmers Herman Theatre located inside the Halle Brown Ford Fine Arts Center.
Written and directed by ECU’s Vickie Reifsnider with music by another member of the ECU community, Rudy Lupinski, and lyrics by Dare Strickland.
“Step into the 1920’s and see if you can guess who murdered whom in Death by Chocolate, a murder mystery dinner,” teased Reifsnider. “The evening will begin with a wonderful meal, and end when you help solve the murder.”
Dot Trolli, the lawyer of Mr. Ande Goodbar I, announces that there will be a secret revealed that will change the lives of everyone there. Until the secret is revealed, Inspector Heath is asked to entertain the group by tickling the ivories. A tale of betrayal, revenge, triple-crosses, blackmail, inheritance and murder ensues.

The cast of Death by Chocolate includes Madyson Bonner, Brianna Jo Davis, Evelyn Davis, Jamie Davis, Shelby Davis, Lannie Green, Scout James, Olivia Joe, Kaylee Hacker, Peyton Leu, Rudy Lupinski, Chance Palmer, John Roberts, Glennon Selke, and Sarah Winn.
